Culture, arts, traditions, tourism, the beauty and color of the canvas of the society. The COVID-19 Pandemic has a massive impact on our society, especially in the aspect of tourism. Beaches are empty, malls are closed, tourist spots and businesses suffer great losses not only in terms of profit, but also in terms of the maintenance and well-being of the sites.

A glimmer of hope shines amidst the global health crisis. As impossible as it may seem, Don Bosco Technical Institute kept the music running, the fire burning in the tourism field. Last September 18 and 25, 2020 Don Bosco Technical Institute held the first ever online tour guiding competition. Bosconians fought head on with each other using their public speaking skills and profound knowledge about the culture and tourism of cities around the region for the honor to be the first ever online tour guiding competition winner.

This contest attests to the ingenuity and innovativeness of Don Bosco Technical Institute-Victorias in continuing to enrich the connectedness of Bosconians to their native culture, their competitiveness, and their recognition of the historical significance of the cities that are presented during the competition. This is another win, not only for the school, but for all of the Bosconians. This is just the beginning of many creative and intuitive programs of DBTI-Victoras. The institution has never failed to Dream, Build, Transform, and Innovate, and it has truly upheld excellence through adapting with the changes that happen in the society.
